(More customer reviews)Just recently bought this guitar. I was under the impression it was green in color but looked more like the "old school" lightning blue Dime. This guitar has a very good sound and would be a great beginnner as well. I bought it mostly for memorabilia. I love to play it though! If you are interested in this guitar, it does rock! The only downfall I can see is that it will make you want to step up to the next level of purchase for your new Dean that comes loaded!! Overall, very pleased. Go for it!

The Dean Dimeblade, like the other Dimebag models, is a fitting tribute to the late great, complete with the likeness and signature of the man himself. Keep it simple--simply rocking, that is--with a single Dean humbucker, Tune-o-Matic bridge with string-thru-body design.
Dime ItThe late great Dimebag Darrell is a serious metal guitar hero, and Dean's series of Dimebag models pays homage. Dimebag started playing Dean ML style guitars in the late '70s, and made it one of the most recognizable shapes today. Dean offers a wide variety of Dimebag MLs to choose from, all boasting Dimebag's distinctive look and tons of mojo and attitude.
Basswood BodyThe Dimeblade features a lightweight basswood body. Basswood is great for heavier rock and metal styles, delivering a nice even tone that feeds a dirt pedal (or a dimed Marshall) nicely.
Of course what's really striking about the body is the wicked custom finish. Dimebag and his signature are portrayed, along with his trademark razor necklace, over green lightning graphics.
Bolt-On ConstructionBolt-on neck construction provides an affordable alternative to set-neck or thru-body designs. The advantage of this design is that if you do have any neck trouble down the line, you can easily replace it.
The Dimeblade's maple neck features an ultra-playable 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, with classic dot inlays.
Dean Humbucker PickupThis axe keeps it simple on the electronics front, featuring just a single Dean Humbucker, in black-and-white "zebra" style for looks as good as the sounds. This pickup provides more than enough bite for modern styles, along with plenty of low-end and midrange definition. Volume and tone controls are provided.
Chrome HardwareThe Dimeblade features a Tune-o-Matic style bridge with string-thru-body design, complete with the classic wing-shaped Dean tailpiece. Dean tuners complete the hardware package, providing solid tuning to support your chops.
