(More customer reviews)I thought this was a mistake when I first saw it. A seagull s6 original itself costs about $100 more. The electronics are great, and the right handed version of this guitar is priced about $200 more. This left handed guitar isn't even shown on guitarcenter. An amazing price and and amazing guitar.

All Seagull Guitars Feature Reverse HeadstocksEach Seagull neck starts out as a single piece of Mahogany or Silver Leaf Maple. The wood is cut at a 45 degree angle after which the top piece - the Headstock - is glued back on with the grain reversed. This is an essential step in the Seagull process for creating incredibly stable necks.

This is where the first Seagulls were made in the early eighties. Today, La Patrie has a population of about 475 and about half of these people are guitar builders.
