(More customer reviews)I was just given one of these guitars for my birthday last month, and I was really surprised about this guitar between what I was told about it (the guy who gave it to me described it as a 3/4-size Seagull, so I didn't think much of it before I got it), and what it actually sounded like playing it.
The cedar/cherry combination made for a very warm, full sound, brightened up with a set of Elixir Light Nanoweb 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, it was perfect.
I love having an on-board tuner with the Quantum I electronic controls, and hooked up to the setup I use: Elixir 92120 Elixir Cable Straight - Straight 20' with a Bose sound system (The Bose system actually belongs to the guy who gave me this guitar), the amplification sounds very clear, very natural.
I have played on quite a few Seagulls including this one, and I really believe this particular model, even for a guitar this size, lives up to the name.
