I've tried out a number of acoustic guitars over the years and am rarely completely won over -- one's too tinny; one's too booming, etc. I was really impressed with a Daisy Rock model's sound a while back, but the look wasn't quite right for me. Then comes the glittery Pixie and, being a child of the '80s, I had to have it!
I tried one in a store to make sure I liked the sound, but wound up buying it through Amazon vendor ZoZo Music (who shipped promptly and is just fab) to get the best price.
As advertised, the smaller neck and lighter weight make it ideal for females. (Not just "girls," but perhaps girls at heart!)
