(More customer reviews)The "Line" on the back of the neck as mentioned by the previous reviewer is only a reflection caused by the light and the curvature of the neck. I've played this guitar and it is a superb musical instrument at a very affordable price. I doubt that either Amazon or the seller would stay in business long if they were selling fake guitars, or fake anything, for that matter. You can rest assured this is a genuine Yamaha at a great price. I've been shopping on Amazon for many years and in my opinion, they are the gold standard in customer service, quality products, and return policy. If you're looking for a guitar in this price range, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one than this. So, buy one, you won't be disappointed.
