(More customer reviews)I purchased this guitar for $[..], not really believing it would be in stock. This is a very nice guitar and appears to be well made. I play mostly jazz and this guitar delivers the tone. It is a little bright when played acoustically, but plugged in it is very warm. There is a video demo on YOUTUBE that you can see. I could not find any reviews on the J4HBK.
I asked for overnight shipping and it arrived the next day. I had to set the bridge and get the intonation right. The strings that it was shipped with were too light for my taste. I also adjusted the truss rod to get it just right. Very nice guitar and I am amazed at the price.
I wasn't expecting it, but it also came with a fantastic case. The case alone has got be worth $100. The tuners are also very nice and not expected on a $[..]guitar.
I own a Tacoma archtop and that is a very nice guitar. The J4hbk is a heavier guitar but has some acoustic tones in common with the Tacoma. If you purchase this guitar at this price, you will not be disappointed.
