I went to Guitar Center in Springfield to purchase a Yamaha FG700S. While testing the guitar, I noticed a blemished Dean Spalted Maple -I've never heard of Dean in my home country. I gave it a try and and thought it matched some guitars there with big price tag of thousands of dollars.
I left GC without purchase as they only had a blemished Dean guitar.
I decided to puchase this Exotic Walnut online and I was highly impressed when it arrived. The strings are all new (D'addario) and unplayed. Guitar is flawless: neck is straight as can be, body is scratch free and shiny after dust removal.
The sound is great, action came perfect: At 12th fret 3/32" 6th string and 2/32" for the 1st E. Few guitars at this price come with quality like this.
I love the Mini-Jumbo design compared to a Dreadnought which is too big for me.
I LOVE DEAN. I got my WINGS.
