(More customer reviews)I've been playing steel-stringed guitars for forty-some years, but my hands and fingers are no longer quite what they used to be. At the same time, my hands are small for a man's, and the width of a regular classical guitar neck would have been a nuisance at best. I tried a Fender "hybrid" that had a slightly narrower neck than a classical, and it sounded wonderful amplified. But for my taste, the natural sound wasn't quite what I'd wanted.
Then I noticed the Ovation Celebrity cc59 on Amazon. It had a similar neck to the Fender, but also had all the good Ovation features I'd grown to love during the years I'd had one. So I took a chance and ordered it. It's barely been out of my hands since I got it. Great tone and projection. The super-shallow bowl is wonderfully comfortable to hold, and the built-in tuner--don't know how I'd ever lived without one. This a great guitar for someone who's used to playing a steel-string guitar, but wants to try nylon without a lengthy adjustment.
P.S. The electronics on this baby are hot!
