(More customer reviews)I have been playing guitar and recording for over 40 years. I have owned just about every guitar there is including custom built ones and Gibson Les Paul guitars from the 70's. I currently own 5 Agile guitars and am very happy with them.
The Agile AL-2000 looks plays and sounds wonderful. Agile makes many upgrades to this model the 2000 being the base model. It is inexpensive but not a "cheap" guitar.
Agile guitars are made in Korea in the same facilities that produce guitars for the "big name" manufacturers. Rondo has them built to their specifications and is the direct importer who sells direct to the customer. An equivalent Epiphone would cost hundreds of dollars more than the Agile. Rondo music stands behind their products and Kurt who runs Rondo is easy to deal with and very helpful in answering questions and resolving any issues with his products.
The only upgrade I might do on the AL-2000 is to add Duncan JB and Jazz pickups. However it sounds so good at the moment I keep putting it off. Agile also makes some absolutely beautiful upgraded versions of this model with gorgeous real abalone and pearl inlay.
Don't be put off by the low price it's an absolutely great guitar!

Cordoba C5-CE Acoustic Electric Classical Guitar, Black Review

I'm not a highly skilled player myself but I can recognize a fine instrument like this when I play it.
The construction and overall finish is beautiful. Very solid, doesn't feel like is going to break in your hands even if you treat it like a solid body guitar...
Great sound, as an acousting, even when it has a thin body, or plugged into an amp or PC interface.
Althoung the action is a little high, you will find this beauty very easy to play due to its kind of thin neck.
The tuner works great as it's very precise. Also the internal pick up does a great job, but don't forget to turn it off after tuning because it eats the 9volts battery very quick.
The cut-away makes it great for high pitch shreding not possible in normal acoustics... and, I have to say, the tuning is still great down in the last frets.
I would really recommend this guitar for beginners and very skilled ones as well.

Agile AL-2000 Electric Guitar in Cherry Sunburst Flame Review

(More customer reviews)I bought my guitar about a month ago, and wanted to play with it for a while before I gave my review, as this is my first guitar.
IF YOU BUY this guitar (which I highly recommend you do if you're looking for a good beginner/intermediate (maybe even expert, from the reviews I've read) guitar), then do yourself a favor and replace the strings right away, they're so horrible that they're worth replacing with cheap strings from WalMart!
Otherwise, it plays great, amazing action right out of the box, neck is as STRAIT as a freaking laser beam, perfectly set-up guitar, the only guitar I think I'll ever see that actually gets sharper as it goes out of tune rather than flatter (I swear this actually happens, the neck isn't bending back or anything, like I said, it's strait!), but it only did that until I replaced the strings, now it stays perfectly in tune, I only need to retune it if I put it in my bag and the knobs get nudged around. Sounds great, sustain is practically twice as long as my crappy bass, it just keeps going like the energizer bunny!
Now on to the looks. This is a beautiful guitar, beautiful wood grain, amazing finish, and about the only thing that I take pride in keeping clean. My bass just gets put in its corner when it wants me to clean it. I love this guitar like it's my child. I would love to practice at work, but I'm way too afraid of it getting stolen. If this guitar ever does leave me though, I would hands-down buy the exact same one not only because of it's great price, but because it's just a great and beautiful guitar.
And finally, at only $200, what do you have to loose?

Kansas K-ESC8-N Electric Guitar, Natural Review

(More customer reviews)I was pleasantly surprised by this guitar when I received it. It is actually quite a nice looking guitar. Its on the heavy side, the action wasn't bad out of the box, a little tweaking and it was fine. The toggle switch was broke when i received it but Amazon made it right. I don't play much anymore so this guitar is fine with me. In my playing days I used a Gibson LS6 and a Fender Strat Deluxe plus. While this guitar cant compare to either of those I can say for the money this is not a bad little guitar. Action is low and it doesn't kill your fingers. Definitely worth the money, Good for a back up, great for a beginner or for those that would just like to pick up the guitar every now and then.
