Ovation's new Burled Maple top Celebrity is the latest addition to the popular and value priced CC Series Ovation guitars. Found mostly in the Pacific Northwestern United States, Maple burl is created by an unusual growth on trees that results in a highly figured piece of wood. Its appearance is darker in color than maple wood with many whorls and patterns. Each guitar top is finished with a light nutmeg stain to enhance the unique figure in the grain. The CC24-NBM also features a mid-depth body, rosewood fingerboard, gold hardware, and Ovation's own OP4BT preamp with on-board tuner.
