(More customer reviews)When compared to a Martin, Yamaha, or an Ibanez in the price range it is almost an insult that they are in the same room. These guitars, as well as other Canadian Godins, are built with quality in mind, solid with excellent tones. This model is quiet clearly a hand crafted gem. I purchased the instrument with a Roland Street Cube Amplifier that was well priced and had a great selection of reverb, echoes and 2 channel capabilities all with the ability to play on the street unplugged for more than 10 hours. I would highly recommend this guitar, and the price to value ratio place it well within the five-star rating I am giving it. Remember to make sure you keep it out of extremes in cold or hot temps and that you give it a little humidity.

(More customer reviews)Received on third business day after ordering. Just out of the box the glossy Rosewood back and sides are very very impressive. It is light weight and very easy to hold and play. NO additional set-up required as far as I'am conserned. It has a loud crisp base and balanced treble sound. The bone nut and saddle give it a great sound. Action is low and easy to play. It sounds just as good through my acoustic amp. The 14:1 tuning keys hold the strings in tune and it is easy to treek the note when tuning. Would definately recommend you check this guitar out, as you may like it as well or better than guitars costing two or there times as much.

Godin XTSA Solid Body 3-Voice Electric Guitar (Light Burst) Review

(More customer reviews)I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and have owned, and still do own, many high end guitars (Gibson / USA Fender / USA Jackson) etc. but since purchasing this this Godin xtsa, it has become my main 'go to' axe.
I purchased it for it's synth access (which it excels at) but combined with it's acoustic piezo output abilities and it's great overall electric sound, it is so versatile that it is hard to pick anything else up!
I love the overall feel and vibe of this guitar, kinda a cross between a Strat and Les Paul, but it works for me!
I got mine used and it was already well cared for and set up by a semi pro player.
It has an easy playing action and hangs well for playing on stage.
Godin states that this guitar is "a jack of all trades and master of all of them" and they are pretty much right on!
I only wish Godin would come out with a 24 fret guitar in the future, I would be all over that.
The only problem with Godin is that you may have to mail order the guitar, if you can find a dealer that has some in stock then try them out and you may be lucky enough to be able to 'cherry pick' your top, mine has the bonus of a nicely flamed top.

Seagull Artist Mosaic Acoustic Guitar Review

(More customer reviews)I love seagull guitars. I had an s6 before buying this one,and bought it sight unseen knowing the quality they put in to their guitars. I went with the mosaic rather than the studio simply because I love the sound of cedar. Its not quite as bright as spruce with rosewood (this one is solid cedar top with solid mahogany sides and back), but much warmer. It has a played in sound right from the get go. I had a professional set up done (around $75) and I swear this item plays and sounds as good as ANY $3000 guitar I have ever played. Its amazing. Mine has the electronics and they do wonders. If yourlooking for a professional quality guitar at a fraction of the price, get a seagull. The artist line is their top of the line but you wont go wrong with ANY seagull.
