Rogue LX200BL Series II Left-Handed Bass Guitar, Candy Apple Red Review

This bass is incredible, especially because it cost so little compared to other more expensive basses. This bass cost me $120.00,and I even had enough money to buy a case for it all in one order.Being left handed,I ordered a left handed bass. That way my knobs and cord jack is on the bottom as normal. However,I play a bass with the E string on the bottom,in other words I play a right handed bass upsidedown. So I have to have a new nut put on the headstock and the strings switched around for my unique playing style. My previous bass is already switched and I love it.This one here, isn't switched yet but will be soon.I have played on it though and the sound is awesome. Two volume controls and two tone controls, plus two pickups.Headstock is configured two and two so switching is easy.I have the candy apple red and it looks awesome. The body is as a P bass, but the little horn to me,seems to be smaller which I like.I reccommend this bass right handed or left handed to anyone that wants a good quality bass for a fraction of the cost of the expensive ones.

Schecter C-4 Custom Bass Guitar (Aged White) Review

Schecter C-4 Custom Bass Guitar (Aged White)

I was looking for a bass for some home recording (I'm the singer for American Ritual in Dallas), having just got into Pro Tools. I can play a bit, sort of a McCartney type of level. I was looking for bang for the buck, basing my research on word of mouth, online reviews, and good ol' msrp vs. sale price.
Anyway, she got to me all beautiful and shiny. I had to do a little set up on her (I'm no expert, but our guitar tech walked me through it), just a 1/3 turn to give the neck a little tweak, and BOOM! Doing great. We tune a half step down (for sound, I beg your pardon, not to help me hit notes, lulz) and she's doing great. Brought it to rehearsal so everyone could give it a whirl and our bass player really loved it. He's a Fender guy, so that's saying something!

Schecter Diamond-J Electric Bass (3-Tone Sunburst) Review

Schecter Diamond-J Electric Bass (3-Tone Sunburst)

very pleased with this recent arrival. finish is flawless, heft is good and nicely balanced, and neck is thick in the j bass style with the much preferred maple fretboard. pups produce a nice variety of tones, especially using the neck side pumping out loads of rich bottom. action is outstanding- had to raise the g just slightly to elimate some buzz but that's it. no sunburst on the back but who cares? strings are d'addario round wounds, pick-ups are passive like i like it, and neck is absolutely straight. made in china, not korea like earlier models. couldn't ask for more in this price range (not a return or second).

Breedlove Passport Plus C250/SB--Lefty Guitar Review

Breedlove Passport Plus C250/SB--Lefty Guitar
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Just received the Breedlove C250/SB Lefty, and it's a Beauty !
"Unplugged" or amplified, the guitar has a full, yet very brilliant tone. It has a striking "piano like" sustain, especially on the lower, wound strings. Setup was good right out of the box. The intonation is perfect across the entire neck ! The action is very good on the unwound strings (E and B), all the way up the neck. The action on the wound strings could possibly be just a bit lower. An allen key was provided to adjust the truss rod (at the sound hole end of the neck), but the neck is very straight "as is", so hopefully the truss rod will not need adjustment (unless I change the gauge of the strings). A "spare" (extra) bridge, and a "bridge shim" were also provided. Not sure I will ever need these, but you never know, they may come in handy at some point ?
The pickup / preamp is true to the natural sound of the guitar, and does not have the "plastic" sound common to many piezo transducer bridge pickup systems. The "Active Preamp" has simple rotary Volume, Bass, and Treble controls.
The built-in tuner is Great !! The tuner's backlit LCD display is *very* crisp......a big improvement over typical LED or LCD bargraph displays found on many "built-in" tuners. The alphabetical readout in 1/2 step increments (D, D#, E, F, F#, etc.) is very helpful.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this guitar, and I think it would be very difficult to find a better guitar anywhere near this price range.

Schecter Omen Extreme-4 Bass Guitar (Black Cherry) Review

Schecter Omen Extreme-4 Bass Guitar (Black Cherry)

This bass arrived with all strings buzzing on the first 7 frets. I had to raise the bridge and adjust the neck quite a bit before it could be played without serious irritation. However the finish is what I would expect for a $400 ax.
