Martin OM28-V Vintage Reissue Acoustic Guitar Review

Martin OM28-V Vintage Reissue Acoustic Guitar

The Vintage Series has sold well because of the uniformity of quality that has marked this series. The OM 28V has soft and beautiful tone and sustain. Balance between bass and treble is amazing and the vesatility shows in blues as well as the volume needed for bluegrass. This guitar does it all. The aging toner darkens with the impact of UV from light and goes vintage within a few years.

Yamaha FG700S Folk Acoustic Guitar, Sandburst Review

Yamaha FG700S Folk Acoustic Guitar, Sandburst

My personal qualifications for writing this review are "none". I'm a total and complete beginner. However, I know what I like to hear, and that's what counts for me. I tried several guitars before making my selection and this one had the cleanest and longest sustaining notes of any of them.
Also, several people at work play and I respect their opinions. They "tried it out" when I brought it back into the office after a lunch time purchase instead of leaving it in the car and all were very enthusiastic. One said it sounded better than any of his guitars that cost at least 2-3 times as much. Another compared it favorably with his $700 Taylor. The third, a professional bass player, whipped a pick out of his wallet, sat on the floor cross-legged, and proceeded to go crazy.

Alvarez Acoustic Guitar MF80C Cutaway Grand Concert Top Solid Spruce Back & Side Solid Mahogany Review

I have owned this guitar now for 6 months. It is my fourth guitar. I use it for leading worship once or twice a week. As far as aesthetics, this guitar is absolutely beautiful with it's abalone inlays and fired-maple binding. The sides and back of this guitar are striking, pictures don't do them justice. The fretboard finish is also equally pleasing.
The action is very close, with no fret buzz. The neck is very fast like playing an electric. Intonations are perfect even using a capo at 4th and 5th frets. When I change the strings my love for it's sound is renewed. It has incredible sustain. The electronics are a great, I will say that i have to use the EQ to balance the tone, if the EQ is flat it lacks mid-bass. There is also a second pickup option in the electronics if you wish to add a soundhole pickup or mic.
I love this guitar, I hope you will too.

This guitar sounds great! A great guitar for the price. I'm sure there is better sounding guitars out there, but not at such a cheap price. Its crafted well, no blemishes, good finish, holds tune. I dig it.

Seagull Coastline S6 Slim CW Spruce QI Guitar Review

I highly recommend this guitar for anyone above a beginner. finger tapping is easy because it picks up sound so well. And the more you play this guitar, the grains in the wood start to open up and give you a better sound. if you are looking for a down side, i cant give you one. It gives a superb electric sound as well. I've recorded with it on Garageband and i can't tell any difference in sound from some thousand dollar guitars i've played. Highly recommended.
