Epiphone Thunderbird PRO-IV Electric Bass Guitar, 4 Strings, Natural Oil Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I love it! Plays great, even high up on the neck near the pickups. Arrived perfectly set up...no intonation problems. Action is great, sound is great...and looks great!
Only issue is a pretty bad static hum...not sure what to do about it. Reduces when touching strings...but never completely silent.
In summary: very attractive, but constantly makes annoying noise...a description fitting of this bass as well as several women I've dated over the years.
UPDATE: The static hum is actually less bad than I originally thought. It's worse for direct-line recording...but running through a bass amp it's pretty manageable...you may just need to tweak your EQ/amp settings a bit. I still do LOVE this bass.
