(More customer reviews)We purchased this guitar for our 18 year-old son for Christmas and we couldn't be happier. Everyone in our family plays guitar. My daughter owns a Taylor, my wife owns a Martin and I own around 8 other acoustic and electric guitars that I've been collecting over the years. My son has been playing for about 4 years now and we decided he has earned a guitar to call his own. Money is tighter than it used to be, so instead of dropping $1K + on a high end maker, I decided to shop for a less expensive guitar that still maintained good build characteristics and good tone. I must say that I am more than impressed with this guitar than I ever expected. This guitar got great reviews online, but I was a little leery of the $300 price tag.. it just didn't seem like a good quality guitar could be made for that price. I was wrong. As soon as I pulled it out of the box and tuned it (using the electronic on-board tuner), I was, and still am amazed at the quality of sound this guitar produces. Had I known I could get this kind of tone from a $300 guitar in the past, I may have saved myself a couple grand while searching for a great sound. I don't regret buying the Taylor and the Martin, but I can tell you that you don't have to spend thousands of dollars for great tone... Fender has it for 3 Benny's. Great Guitar. Great value. I'm buying another one for me...
