Epiphone Limited Edition 1956 Les Paul Electric Guitar, Gold Top Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I am very surprised and amazed at the quality of the Gold Top Epiphone 56 Les Paul. I own 20 guitars and this one feels "Right" and sounds like a Les Paul should. It replaced a 71 Gibson Gold Top, and frankly, it is lighter, the former was a boat anchor, and plays better. It is possible that I just got lucky, but the last 2 epiphones I bought were also superior to the last Gibson I bought which was an SG. Guess what I play everyday...? the Epiphone, I really don't care what the name on the headstock says nor do I care what Gibson snobs think. I have been playing guitar since 1967, you do the math.
