Dean Exotica Quilted Ash Acoustic-Electric Cutaway Guitar with Tuner Preamp Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I've been playing for about 15 years and this is the 6th acoustic I've owned after Epiphone, Fender, Aria, Johnson, Jasmine and this is definitely the best. It has a very smooth sound, plays very comfortably. The built in tuner is nice, but it's not a great tuner. I wouldn't recommend using it before recording or playing live, but it gets you close enough if you're just playing. The built in EQ is fair, but like the tuner isn't the best.
Thats the only drawbacks so far - the electronic element. It also includes a XLR input for going right into a PA which is very handy. The guitar itself is great. Picked it up from Guitar Center for $350 about 6 months ago and it's definitely worth it. It stays in tune after hours of playing which is very nice. Dean never impressed me with their electrics, but I would definitely buy an acoustic from them again.
