(More customer reviews)What a heavenly instrument. Bought from J&R through amazon. I bought a Walnut colored one and got a Wine Red one shipped to me! The Wine Red is gorgeous and very rich looking. So, no complaint.
After 40 years and over a 1000 guitars (I used to be a vintage dealer) I have to say this is a fabulous instrument!
1) It sings right out of the box, both acoustically and plugged in. You can't fake that. I think the secret to this great guitar is the soft-V neck and substantial headstock.
2) This is one of the best feeling necks I've ever played. GREAT NECK. You simply must try one.
3) Fit and finish was a 10. Look at the fit and finish on a $3000 Gibson. DBZ kicks their duff everytime!!!
4) Contacted DBZ and was put right to the owner who was really a pleasure. Trust me I had a Bad Les Paul one time and Gibson said "tough luck, we don't warrantee our fretwork" and this was a 1 day old Gibson! DBZ gets a 10 for customer service.
Great guitar. Monster bang for the buck. So good I went out and bought a 2nd Bolero (Screaming Orange to set up rockabilly). I plan to buy a couple more DBZ's to cover all my bases

(More customer reviews)First off let me start by saying, the Guitar has an attractively neat appearance, and very comfortable to play. I am happy with that. However, if you are comparing it to a Gibson, it falls short.
There is slight Fret buzz out the box and the Pickups are a bit too bright on the high end for my taste. I also felt they could they have been a little hotter.
But all in all, it's a great guitar for the price.

(More customer reviews)This guitar usually sells new for $749 with case. This price on Amazon doesn't include a case, but I didn't need one. It's very nice and thin which lets it resonate nicely in your hands. Good sounding pickups. Arrived needing neck and bridge adjustment, so lucky I can do that. I like that it is a different kind of design, not a Les Paul or Strat type. Plug it in with a good pedal and it sings. Have at it.

Gibson Flying V's are USA and I tell you what, this flying V is better than my Gibson hands down.
I paid 400 for this Cavallo on sale right here
Pickups are great and dont need to be replaced
Action was perfect out of the box
The strings sucked so I replaced them
Watch out for this brand : DBZ is killing them out there. These guitars are better than my Gibson's, Dean's or Michael Kelly guitars.
get one, you wont be mad at yourself.

DBZ Guitars Bolero AB Electric Guitar, White Review

(More customer reviews)I have two DBZ guitars and this white one is one of them. I didn't have to do anything to the guitar out of the box. The action is perfect, no fret buzz and no cosmetic defects.
The pickups are amazing. I was worried I was going to have to replace them, but to my amazement, the sound quality was exactly what I was looking for. The cleans are crisp and the distortions are superb. There is a clarity that comes out, nothing is muddy at all.
This isn't going to give you a les paul sound, so if you are looking for a Les Paul sound out of this thing, get a Les Paul (I have one of those too)
Not to discourage anyone from getting one of these, just saying, les paul sound you will not get.
I wasn't looking for a Les Paul sound. What I have is a great guitar that gives me the perfect combination of everything. This is coiled tapped so you can split the Humbucker.
I play everything from Hendrix to Slipknot and this guitar gives me all. It doesn't hurt to be running through a voodoo modded dual rectifier either.
DBZ is a much better guitar this his old Dean line. Trust me, I have Dean's too and hands down, these DBZ guitars run them in the dirt. My other DBZ guitar : Cavallo and it plays just are nice as the Bolero Series.
I did play an American made DBZ Bolero and could only tell minor differences and their cost: 3500, these Korean made Bolero's : 600.00 if you know where to shop beyond eleven just need to sign up as a member. I only plug them because they are the cheapest on the net for these DBZ guitars.
