Hohner HC09TE-N Thin Bodied Classical Nylon String Guitar with Electric Preamp Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This is a very fine guitar for the price. I actually found it somewhere else NEW for $150 but even at the Amazon price it is perfect. Impeccable finish, sweet sound, perfect for beginners. When plugged to an amplifier it sounds nice and clear and it is not feedback prone like many amplified acoustics tend to be. Much better than Yamahas and Ibanezes on the same price range. The guitar is also smallish so it is perfect for beginners or traveling. But don't be mistaken, this is an awesome little instrument even for someone like me who has played for years and finds it hard to put it down after I pick it up.

Hohner welcomes you to the world of playing guitar. The Hohner HC09TE-N is a handcrafted classical guitar with a Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. This wood match-up creates a crisp texture to the overall sound of the instrument. The Hohner HC09E is considered a thin bodied classical guitar due to the shollow body that allows smaller framed individuals reach around the guitar easily, and is used in schools worldwide to teach the traditional style of playing guitar. The HC09TE-N is equiped with an electric preamp for amplification at performances. This instrument also comes equipped with light gauge nylon strings for easier fingering as to not discourage the first time player. Hohner has a long tradition of supporting music education. While being in business for over 150 years Hohner has enjoyed creating instruments to help people of all ages express themselves through music. Most recently Hohner has joined forces with GAMA, an organization dedicated to bringing the joy of playing guitar into school systems nationwide.
