(More customer reviews)I bought this Dean Tennessee A Style Acoustic Electric Mandolin. It is my first Mandolin. I've been playing guitar for 35 years and wanted to try something different. So far, I love it. It is tuned like a violin and is easy to learn. I consider it a good purchase for a beginner. I haven't encountered any problems so far. It sounds great when plugged into my Line 6 amp. It also sounds great as an acoustic. I highly recommend it.
