(More customer reviews)I can't believe there are no reviews on this mic. It's the best directional mic I have ever seen, in 15 years of sound engineering. It's very very sensitive, yet very directional. I do not have the video any more, but I once recorded a voice interview with a freakin' helicopter landing behind me. The helicopter noise could be heard, but it was not overwhelming the voice being recorded. I turned around to test the ambient rejection and could not point the mic directly at the chopper due to distortion. I then turned around to my voice subject and continued the interview, unimpeded. It doesn't get any better than that. This mic is tough, sounds great and has excellent ambient rejection qualities. Can't say enough good about it. I've owned mine for 5 years and use it about 8 to 10 times a year. It is very wind sensitive, though, and it's very difficult to solve that problem. A real good wind screen is necessary and I have never been able to completely suppress wind noise. But that aside, this mic is worth every penny.
